Kill All the Things

I do believe I got to the “Kill All the Things” stage a bit faster than usual. Tuesday, to be precise. You know it’s bad when you can’t even make eye contact for fear that you’ll suddenly transform into a man-eating lioness.

And still, I cooked.

I made a delicious Moroccan Beef Roast and cauliflower rice recipe from the Whole30 Cookbook for dinner and Pumpkin Custard from Louisiana Bride for breakfast the next day.

Wednesday, I began to feel less she-wolf and more average-exhausted-mom. I went out to Picnik because HELLO, THEY HAVE A WHOLE30 MENU. I wonder how many restaurants in the U.S. can say that. We had Sweet Potato Chili from Savory Lotus for dinner, which never disappoints.

Thursday was leftovers for lunch and Nomnompaleo’s Instant Pot Chicken and Gravy with Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts from Detoxinista.

I’m pretty proud of myself that I’ve managed to throw together our meal plan on the fly and stick to this round fairly easily so far. I know hard things are coming, but for now I’m feeling like kind of a pro. And I’m definitely not jinxing myself right now.
